Racists can be mad about a biracial Black Canary but the colour of her skin was never the most important part of her. Her personality, her friendships, her compassion, her warmth, her wit, her intelligence and near unrivaled skill- they’re what make Black Canary. The only physical aspect that she’s known for (apart from the iconic fishnets!) is the blonde hair. Wigs exist. I hope Jurnee Smollett-Bell is an excellent Dinah Lance.
